Founder and Chief Executive Officer
Bioengineer
Prasanna is a vascular bioengineer with expertise in microfluidics, 3D tissue engineering, mechanobiology, and computational vascular modelling. He brings lab-to-product insights, translating advances in vascular biology and bioengineering into technologies with clinical and pharmaceutical relevance. His research experience spans Max Planck Institutes, the University of Twente, EMBL, and Aarhus University.

She helps ensure that Perfusure's innovations remain grounded in real-world clinical challenges.

Torben Stamm Mikkelsen, PhD
Scientific and Clinical Advisor
Pediatric Oncologist & Associate Professor
Torben is a clinician-scientist in paediatric oncology. He brings deep expertise in childhood cancers, translational research, and clinically relevant disease modelling. He provides scientific and clinical insights to help ensure that our vascular tissue models address meaningful questions in oncology and support the translation of emerging technologies toward more predictive drug testing and precision medicine.
